An Arizona rancher who has waged a five-year campaign to stop a flood of illegal aliens from crossing his property has been ordered by a civil jury to pay nearly $100,000 for a 2004 incident during which he confronted a family hunting on his land. They swarm across like locusts taking whatever private property in their path they want. They drain any water storage barrels they find leaving NOTHING for the people who depend on that water. They terrorize people at all hours. Thirty people suddenly show at your property at three AM demanding food and water. They leave trash, vehicles, parts of vehicles all over. They mark out routes for others to follow and trash. They have their own stations with water jugs stationed. At these "stations" there is a tremendous amount of trash and whatever articles they leave because they can't carry them anymore.
And you wonder why they get a bad name???????????
Unfortunately, you're preaching to the choir.. open border advocates like Ben don't care about the hardship this swarm creates (for American Citizens) in it's path, instead choosing to call those of us wanting it stopped racists.
I think most people broadly agree, illegal immigration is a serious problem.
However, when it comes to a solution to the problem of illegal immigration, there is no broad agreement.
Some people say that the illegals should be deported.
Some say attrition theory is the best solution.
Some say the illegals should become guest workers.
Some say illegals should have a chance at citizenship.
But you don't need to worry your little ol' head about anymore. The democrats are now in charge and they will take care of the problem.

I know. You can't even get off the pavement without trespassing, unless you have a hunting lease.
But in areas where there is lots of public hunting land being locked up there is no excuse for not having access.
Notice they didn't go after him in criminal court. They sued knowing that if they won, it would open up the rancher to a slew of future lawsuits that would destroy him financially and get him kicked off his ranch if he did anything but bow to the illegal aliens and let them operate unfettered. You missed the point of the entire article, it is about illegal immigration.
Score a big one for the illegals. Now Mr. Barnett faces financial ruin if he stops illegal aliens from crossing his land unfettered and treating it like an open sewer.

There is about 90 miles across of border down there that is neither US territory nor Mexican territory. It is the sovereign land of the Tohono O'odham Indian nation and tribal members live on both sides of the border. Some have dual US-and tribal citizenship and some have dual Mexican and tribal citizenship.
I did not say he was. This whole thing is about more than just Morales, as stated in the first and second sentences of my reply to you. Morales being legal hasn't stopped leftist pro-illegal immigration groups from hijacking the issue and funding frivolous lawsuits to further that agenda.

Well, I'm proud to say I didn't contribute to a bloom of Democrats in Arizona.. my GOP reps, State and Federal, won. We're still stuck with a dem governor, though... but, I voted against her. Above all else the borders need to be closed, locked down and then they can decide what to do with the 20-30 million that already snuck in.

The jury found in FAVOR of all five plantiffs Wednesday.
Glaringly, you call this a frivolous suit. The fact that there was a judgement indicates otherwise.
As for my comprehension, I comprehend this particular article as well as the overall situation.
I recognize the mis-info in the article and I recognize that all of Seper's "opinions masquerading as news" contain a lot of mis-info. Anyone relying on this article to be informed is being fooled. As I said above, I have the internet and can seek out many sources of info concerning recent developments.
Likewise, I have stayed informed, thru time, on this issue of not only Barnett, but also Ranch Rescue and the Minutemen. The similarities and dis-similarities are obvious. You would do well to understand why the Minutemen have not been the subject of civil actions, even tho they have recieved far more scrutiny than Barnett.
