I find this absolutely amazing. I am surprised at the number of people on this forum that think we are losing so many in this war because we are "fighting a PC war". If we were fighting a PC war, we would so many more dead than we have today. America is weak, but not militariy weak, we, as a society, have a weak stomach for any real fighting.

Big difference, WE WON.
and we won even though we started off undermanned outgunned and outexperienced. In three and a half years we beat tens of millions of veteran professional troops and thousands of their planes and ships and tanks....
Today, in three and a half years, the GOP Leadership can't beat a bunch of punks with RPGs and WE are the ones who have all the experienced troops and firepower.

Yep, but in those three and a half years we concquered the Axis powrs and threw them out of North Africa, Sicily, Italy, France, Holland, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Austria, The Philipines, the Marianas, New Guinea, The Gilbert Islands, the Marshall Islands, Burma, Iwo Jima, Okinawa.....in the past three years we haven't even gained control over one stinking country the size of California....so, what's your point?
