"But that's OK...she has ICE CREAM!!!" People on the Thrust Ring are now making "Splash-Flash" Ice Cream. They select a section of outer hull that is in shade, get it good and clean, and pour ice cream mix onto the super-cold hull. The ice-cream freezes instantly, and all they have to do is scrape it up.
