I grew up in Minnesota and I love that state but the politics leave a lot to be desired.....
Take heart. Two other districts sent some fine folks to DC. John Kline was just reelected from the 2nd District and Michele Bachmann was just elected for the first time from the 6th District.
I think Bachmann could become one of the real stars of the Republican Party. She is a conservative to her core. She is and will be flayed by the media for every breath she takes. She defeated a media darling (Patty Wetterling) in this election.
I predict she will not "grow" in office in the bright lights of DC.
