Sorry, those are zombies. You can't use vampire-extermination tools. You have to BURN 'EM.

"... they arrested them, and now have a lawsuit on their hands." Maybe the cops are hoping that it will just ... uh, die away?

"....Did you wreck the car?" "No". "Did you raise the dead?" "Yes". "But the car is okay?" "Yes". "Well run along then".

Everyone should rent "Shaun of the Dead." The best zombie movie ever made. It's kind of like an "Airplane" spoof of the zombie genre.

If they weren't charged, what were they doing in jail? No habeas corpus rights, no problem.

The "zombies" invaded Manchester, NH, last Saturday.
They organize these gatherings on MySpace. Just can't let go of Halloween, I guess.

I grew up in Minnesota and I love that state but the politics leave a lot to be desired..... Take heart. Two other districts sent some fine folks to DC. John Kline was just reelected from the 2nd District and Michele Bachmann was just elected for the first time from the 6th District.
I think Bachmann could become one of the real stars of the Republican Party. She is a conservative to her core. She is and will be flayed by the media for every breath she takes. She defeated a media darling (Patty Wetterling) in this election.
I predict she will not "grow" in office in the bright lights of DC.

These tools are universal. Crucifixes and incantation "and the Word became Flesh" were recommended as universal in the Malleus Maleficarum as well, but in the current PC climate a police department might have difficulty with these. Ditto for the holy water and sanctified oil.

The name zombie really has a bad connotation, would not be proper to call them "The living impaired"?

Undead-American?
Heartbeat Impaired?
I don't think I would have a problem yielding a handicap parking space for one.

Not to mention the dietary requirements that offices and cafeterias would have to make arrangements for.

The adult zombies were jailed for two days before police and city attorneys said there was not enough evidence to charge them.
Not enough evidence? You sure they weren't released because they were getting rather (ugh)...ripe?
I know the dead can vote in Chicago, I didn't know they were active in Minnesota.
If now there is a spread of mindless slaughter and brain-eating up north, at least we know who to blame. The police never take zombies seriously until it's far too late; that's the rule in countless bad movies.
