It's crimes like this that might make Massachusetts reinstate the death penalty.

Isn't it a shame that the authorities have lost all sense of proportionality.

As contrasted to my 11-yo, who owns a very nice Ruger competition rifle.

If they were just bullets, then there was no danger. If they were cartridges, then the potential for harm is higher, but you still need a firearm to shoot them.

Ms. Skrzyniarz, who returned telephone calls yesterday to four parents who left messages for her on Tuesday, said she went to the school yesterday to see how the students were doing. I wanted to see how they were weathering the incident, she said.
I hope the little darlings arent too traumatized. Ms. Skrzyniarz would have been horrified to have seen what we brought to school in the '50s and '60s.

Not 1 but 2 bullets!!!!
The rest of the students will need psychological counseling for life to overcome this tramatic event. /sarcasm

If only he'd had a pack of smokes on him, then we could see true justice return to that state.

Ms. Skrzyniarz would have gone into a coma if she had seen me carrying a shotgun to the principal's office when I was in high school. After all, they didn't allow us to keep them in our lockers during school so we had to leave them in the office.

Ms. Skrzyniarz, as if having a completely unpronounceable name were not bad enough, you are also a full-fledged barking moonbat numbskull. But, as a good liberal, you can always blame "the system" for that;)

Geez, in the 80's when I was in school I took:
A De-milled .50 cal cartridge.
A Live 20mm cartridge.
A De-milled Handgranade.
And various small arms cartridges from time to time.
At lunch me and my friends would show and tell and talk about being soldiers when we grew up and such things.

The great wasteland of TV like GUnsmoke,WAgon TRain,LOne Ranger and the rest emphasized good behavior, responsible gun handling as an incidental part of the story line, and promoted good citizenship.Today's "entertainment" is about non-stop pointless violence and gratuitous sex.
You suppose thatt could influence the kids?

They took those violent Bugs Bunny cartoons off the air and replaced it with much more realistic human violence.

I wanted to see how they were weathering the incident, she said."Weathering the incident?" LOL! Quick, call in the counselors, because I'm sure they were very traumatized. I take it, this must be a big event in MA?

That's what I don't get. If you have a weapon, you're definitely going to have bullets for it, so these two extra bullets aren't really useful.
