Richards reaction was so over the top that I'm forced to believe that this explosion was the result of him having been heckled by mostly black people over the years. Each time it happened, his inner rage towards those of a darker persuasion built up until it erupted for all the world to see.
I can't say I fault him if that's the case. Each of us can only take so much, and now he's forced to humiliate himself further just to salvage a bit of a career to placate the likes of Al Sharpton.
The only one who can force him to humiliate himself is he, himself. he shouldn't apologize anymore. Once was enough. If blacks don't like it, tough.
