Purify the temple. Clear out the trolls.
It looks like a slow thread today. I guess I wasn't the only one working hard to prepare for Thanksgiving.
I came in to see if there was any "troll stew" worth chomping upon. I'm tired of looking at turkey.

Where did everyone go? Last minute grocery shopping? Baking turkeys all day for our church's annual thanksgiving dinner. Baked 6 today, have to bake 6 more before noon tomorrow. Yikes.
I'm a bit tired, came in to see if there was any troll stew worth noshing on. LOL! I can't let this thread die down with only 60 posts on it, now can I?

I hear basting doesn't really help that much, if at all. But as far as the breast goes, I've read that oiling/buttering between the skin and the meat before sliding it into the oven helps to keep that part of the bird moist. Baking the turkey breast side down helps because the juices flow downwards.

JFK was a liberal welfare-stater in the mold of FDR. And both of them have more cajones than your average liberal today. So sad that the democratic party has become the socialist party.

The trolls were relatively quiet today. Maybe they were too busy stuffing turkeys (or acting like turkeys somewhere else) to harass TSN thread. What a relief.
Happy Thanksgiving!

LOL! Happy Thanksgiving to you as well, Tamar! While I'm at it, our old pal and Infidel, BSB, would like to wish you and all the other TSN thread regulars a happy Thanksgiving as well! May you all be the first to grab the couch after loading up on tryptophan-laden turkey and the fixins!

By today's Democratic Party standards, FDR--whose greatest accomplishment, in my opinion, was the Manhattan Project--would be considered a right-winger.

Last year he was spray-painted black and the year before he was stolen by a teenager and thrown into the ocean but recovered. What a teen-age dimwit! Of course he doesn't realize Jesus can 'WALK ON WATER'.
Bwahahahahahaha! .

Out of context, Last year he was spray-painted black and the year before he was stolen by a teenager and thrown into the ocean but recovered. sounds pretty funny. Happy ThanksGiving All.

"Probably...
But I also wonder about Michael Alan Weiner's mental health. Y'know he got his Doctorate in Herbal Healing from UCLA Bezerkly back in the days when they gave Carlos Casteneda a PhD. in Anthropology for his lunatic stories about how hallucinogenics make you smarter.
And Savage is abnormally obsessed and uncomfortable with human sexuality.
The only logical conclusion I can draw after listening to him is that the man is nuts."

"I addressed my comment to Tarkus. Are you saying that Tarkus is really the Weiner?
I could understand an argument regarding political or cultural philosophy, but you entered into an area where your adoration of Dr. Weiner is only exceeded by your ignorance. Running a military unit requires a similar level of education and experience to that of a surgeon. I am a combat infantry man and have been in many firefights, but I would never presume to be able to "run a military". Savage has never heard a shot fired in anger or smelled the burnt stench of an abdominal wound and is no more prepared than a kindergarten teacher to a military force. Fighting a battle is not as easy as categorizing Pacific flora. You might want that pompous ass poking around in your chest cavity, but I will leave that real professionals. When it comes to strategy and maneuver I will leave that to the real professionals too."
Weiner is a fool.
