You simply cannot have random people running around declaring they have the right to carry out death sentences. That sounds more like fanatical islam than a decent Judeo/Christian society. In a civilized society, death sentences must be carried out AFTER a fair and just trial. God is the ultimate lawmaker, the ultimate judge--something we will all have to reckon with when we leave this mortal plain. Paul Hill is not God, but he will certainly be judged by God, along with other murderers.

As for me mentioning that the receptionist was innocent, how does that make me a judge? She was never on trial for anything. I was merely stating a fact.

Having lost 3 pre-term children before finally managing to bring one to full term, thanks be to God, I can't begin to tell you how human those babies were to me, even at conception. I wish no unborn babies had death sentences. But I will not let that pain turn me into a monster who thinks its ok to kill people without due process.

Whose innocence are you talking about anyway? If you are talking about the woman who was a receptionist who got shot in the back, she was never on trial for anything. And even if you think she was guilty of something, does that mean any random nut has the right to execute her?

You are equivocating because you sympathize with their goals. But you are still wrong and no amount of parsing will make it right. A man who shoots a 25 year old woman in the back and watches dispassionately while she bleeds to death is like any other murderer. And don't be so sure you have their motives pegged. They do kill for their own benefit, they have delusions of Godhood. And its clear they get pleasure from their killing.

I don't want any more abortions either, and if I had a magic wand I could wave and stop it now I would. But I don't think killing the workers in these "clinics" will make any appreciable impact on the killing of unborn and it turns people against pro-lifers. I've seen it happen.
