It's amazing, isn't it? Metro Atlanta and beyond has changed sooooo much in the past 10 years or so. I love Georgia, and I think we are on the right track but, Lordy, it's changed. You'd have to see it to believe it.

10 years? Think 25 or 30. I remember living by Lost Mountain when Dallas Hwy was 2 lanes and the loop meant I-285 which was still 5 miles outside and beyond the city of Atlanta.

Go to Dalton some time. I hear they are thinking about changing the name to El Daltono. Also all the carpet mills are going to start observing afternoon siesta.
