Note this! An Arabic speaker didn't like what she was hearing: ( how about teaching some of our air marshalls Arabic?)
>>To: Abigail Adams
Per channel 5 here:
Basically these 6 guys were speaking Arabic amongst themselves on the jetway towards the plane. A woman who speaks the language heard some of it and was concerned enough to notify the flight attendant via a note.
Crew asked for them to leave.
Question on their ID's.
Said they were attending religious conference.
All they have for now.

"Is the plane considered private property?"

Why did you ask that?

If cair wasn't a terrorist organization....
there would be room for them in the US....
otherwise, if we are at war, throw the cair terrorists out for the safety of the children. We adults will take cair (of) ourselves.

...men were still trying to find a flight back to Phoenix

By the time they get to Phoenix,
They'll be Christians.
They'll finally be understanding St. Paul...

"We are concerned that crew members, passengers and security personnel may have succumbed to fear and prejudice based on stereotyping of Muslims and Islam,"

Well, duh, wonder why that may have come about? Haven't seen any Lutherans rampaging at the slightest affront, or blowing people up............

"They were treated like terrorists ... humiliated,"

Which is a whole lot better than "infidels" are treated by Muslims, generally speaking.

Here's a suggestion: start condemning the radical, intolerant, fascists that are more and more coming to define your faith, and maybe people would be a little less uneasy when you start praying to Mecca just before boarding a plane.

Hmm. Muslims are outraged. This is news?

[yawn]

I'm more than a little tired of Muslim outrage.

More like "building bridges to hang our burnt bodies from," as in Fallujah, 2004.

To: From many - one.; TLI; eureka!

I'd be more inclined to give them a pass if the meeting they were attending discussed how to burn bridges with Islamic fascists, rather than building bridges with American society. I don't hear enough outrage and protests from these groups about the activity of their "brothers" overseas.

[A member of the local airport commission] also said some witnesses reported the men were making anti-American statements involving the Iraq war, asked to change seats once inside the cabin, that one requested an extender to make his seat belt larger even though he did not appear to need it and that in general "there was some peculiar behavior."

A further quote from the yahoo posting. So "just praying" wasn't the only reason for their removal.

They are terrorists! (This is a virtual library of Islam/Koran)

CAIR is also the enemy working freely within the United States to harass, confuse and lobby for their interest in the United States Government. Throw that organization out of the country. No long robes, towels on heads or veils if traveling on Jets along with all the other safety measures we have now this must be part of that security. Off with the Robes, veils and other exclusionary and concealing apparel.

End Political Correctness Now!

They don't believe in Christ. Try and imagine if this had been a Christian praying in public. Be lucky if they weren't removed from the plane in mid air.
