Here's a suggestion: start condemning the radical, intolerant, fascists that are more and more coming to define your faith, and maybe people would be a little less uneasy when you start praying to Mecca just before boarding a plane.

Which is exactly how I felt the last time I flew a year ago. Made last minute reservations for a business meeting to Florida....down one day and home the next.
While I know my 5'2" blond-hair blue-eyed physique probably profiled me as being suspicious, not only did I get the royal treatment of standing off to the side while they went through my panties in my overnight bag, but ***as I was boarding the plane*** they "detained" me some more and I waited as security arrived to wave the wand over my bra again. (NOTE TO SELF: do NOT wear underwire on a flight EVER!!!)
