MINNEAPOLIS - Six Muslim imams were removed from a US Airways flight at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on Monday and questioned by police for several hours before being released, a leader of the group said.
The six were among passengers who boarded Flight 300, bound for Phoenix, around 6:30 p.m., airport spokesman Pat Hogan said.
A passenger initially raised concerns about the group through a note passed to a flight attendant, according to Andrea Rader, a spokeswoman for US Airways. She said police were called after the captain and airport security workers asked the men to leave the plane and the men refused.

Looks like the passengers did a bit of their own profiling and possibly saved 141 innocent lives.

More like there will be lawsuits all over this one. Even if it was a test of the security system.

Sheesh. Come on, that probably was one of the safest flights around. The imams are the ones who encourage others to take down aircraft or blow themselves up.

I did a search and found nothing.

Good point. Probably the safest flight of the day.

Who Cares???????? If I am on a plane and three Muslim men stand up in the plane and start praying in Arabic you can bet I would have been concerned too.
Christians are chastised for praying simple prayers in public and our children are forbidden to pray in the public schools we help fund. As for Islam, this isn't about ignorance. This is about survival. The Islamics look on us as infidels and who will be the next ones to enter a building, plane, etc with their sole intent to murder everyone around them in order to go to Allah?

Shahin expressed frustration that despite extensive efforts by him and other Muslim leaders since even before the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks so many Americans know so little about Islam.Yes, like the fact they have murdered more than more than 20,000 people worldwide since 9/11 and continue their violence daily, they killed 1643 just last month in 294 attacks in attempt to spread their "religion".

Big convention in Phoenix?
To: libstripper
Looks like the passengers did a bit of their own profiling and possibly saved 141 innocent lives. Actually, this flight was probably one of the safest to take in regard to terrorism. Imams and Mullahs don't do their own dirty work. They get young, impressionable minds to do their dirty work.

If their evening prayers are said about the same time (or sun position)everyday they must have known they would be on the airplane when they got their tickets. And they thought this would cause no problem? They are either very ignorant of how americans would react to this or this was intended for other purposes.
Wasn't there a story somewhat recently about a Muslim saying a prayer before he got on a plane and was not allowed on or removed after boarding?
