At this point, the number of participants in the Renouncing Islam campaign is growing

Until the movement is squashed.

I thought Muslims weren't capable of appreciating democracy and freedom?

Turks have an amount of scepticism about their state religion. These people might be related to Turks.

I hoped those named individuals are well-armed and alert. Good luck to them in their efforts.

That's good. Press their hot buttons and they will do outrageous things that will justify suitable countermeasures. Maybe Eurabia will try the strategy before it's too late.

Apostasy is their hottest hot button, closely followed by cartoons, treatment of women, and Israel. The best hot buttons are those which inflame the Mooselimbs but are seen as perfectly reasonable expressions of freedom by normal people.

If Islam wasn't the perfect example of a self policing
and recruiting cult, I believe 80% of the members would renounce the idiocy. Unfortunately, the cult uses violence to curb it's members. I hope these people are armed.

"I thought Muslims weren't capable of appreciating democracy and freedom?"

Prehaps not, but ex-muslims sure seem to appreciate them.

Apparently so. According to Wikipedia, Azeris have "a mixed cultural heritage of Turkic, Iranian, and Caucasian elements."

They are alert. They won't be going with kidnappers who happen to be wearing police uniforms.
