Kaufman and the entire thing with the pro wrestler on Letterman was staged, and we never figured it out till after he was dead, IIRC Letterman didn't know it either.
If it wasn't staged, that's probably the last we'll ever see or hear of Cosmo Kramer. Hannity is talking about it right now in fact...
