I hope he runs for President, that way, the Senate Seat opens up here in Massachusetts, and Liveshot will be retired politically forever.

He knows the people of Massachusetts will return him to the Senate, The Presidency is a crapshoot at best and he hasnt much of a chance. he will pick the Senate.
It would be fun watching him lose both if he runs for President, I think he isnt the brightest bulb on the tree, but he isnt stupid enough for that.

This guy actually ran for Caucus Chairman for his fellow Senate Democrats and lost to Patty Murray, who was once named by a liberal publication as one of the Ten Dumbest Members of Congress. That speaks volumes about his standing among fellow Democrats.
I think he'll retire. His "botched joke" is for soldiers what "mecacca" is for Indian-Americans.

The state Legislature and governor could change the law...You don't think Deval and his friends at the State House would change the law for fellow lib Kerry? Then again, given the cold shoulder Kerry got from Pelosi and Schumer, maybe his national ambitions will be decided more by the DNC and Hillary than his local partners-in crime.

IMO Lurch is definitely running again. His ego is so inflated, he believes he is ''destined ''to be President. That fact is seared, seared into his memory..........

Oh,
please, please, please, please run for president Jon "The Troops are Stoopid" Carry.
PS - Swiftboating (telling the truth about a candidate who falsely inflates his record) still works.

mr kerry may very well be lower on the democrat sc%mbag heirarchy than i thought. since his recent bout with hoof-in-mouth disease, he may be too radio-active to be way up there with the prima ballerinas.
so, one will adjust the score card and make him maybe number 17.

Kerry's boat sank a few weeks ago. He knows it.
He'll not run....UNLESS....he is a totally deluded egomaniac.

Kerry can't be a presidential nominee and candidate for US Senate on the November 2008 ballot -- It'll never work after he put his foot in his mouth about the soliders in Iraq. The Swift Boat episode didn't help him at all and that was based on a he said/they said scenario from people's recollections from years ago. This is way too recent.

I hope so too, but this excerp:
"US Representatives Martin Meehan and Stephen Lynch are both considered potential candidates in that scenario. Others mentioned include Joe Kennedy; Christopher Gabrieli, the venture capitalist who lost to Patrick in the primary; and former attorney general Scott Harshbarger."
looks like there is nothing diffetrent/better on the horizon!

Here's the problem for Senator Kerry: he's way less popular than Senator Edward Moore Kennedy.
Remember that debacle in Boston in 2004 when he made a surprise appearance at a Yankees at Red Sox game and got lustily booed?
To: MassachusettsGOP
Yeah!
Besides Mr Kerry already "reported for duty" and the Country said:
"NO THANKS!!"
What would be different now? especially after his oh-so-stupid gaffe about getting "stuck in Iraq".
He is now known fully for the bonehead he really is.
