You don't think Deval and his friends at the State House would change the law for fellow lib Kerry? Then again, given the cold shoulder Kerry got from Pelosi and Schumer, maybe his national ambitions will be decided more by the DNC and Hillary than his local partners-in crime.
Kerry isnt well liked in all honesty, I think the State House and Deval would plot to take the seat for themselves. Afterall, every other Democratic politician in the State has been waiting for a Senate seat to open up for the last 22 years.
