#169, as true Communist/Socialists, it is sad but true. They have no love for our Military, and do not care if they are murdered by their lies and they do not care what happens to the Iraqi People. They really only care about their power and Perversion.

What promises? I saw Emmanuel on Russert dodging a direct question on an Iraq policy. They will have to formulate a policy from scratch and focus group if they don't co-opt anything that the study group might come out with.
And what purpose does SD O'Connor serve on the study group?

W is also the rat/dnc/msm worst nightmare, an inspired Christian leader who says what he means and means what he says, Washington seldom knows how to deal with such people.

I just know many of these Democrats got elected by sounding like Republicans and taking conservative positions. These are the ones they need to be held accountable for keeping.
For the rest, Democrats have used focus groups and polls for creating positions they can use. Even when they don't believe in them, they will try to use them to fool voters.

Agreed. I particularly want the spotlight on the misogynist, Webb to see what he is up to with his positions.

These are the guys who will be constantly screwing up over and over just like webb did today.
We need to log this stuff into a master place and dig it all up when the next election rolls around. Whenever these guys are exposed to the light of day they disintegrate.

I fear they will not and just toe the dem line when it comes to it.
History shows that the Conservatives/Republicans do that but the Dems stick together I believe this was a factor in the recent elections the non informed public saw the Republicans as disunited whereas the Dems were speaking with one voice.

The msm/DBM would go all out to destroy candidate Newt,IMHO. They would work against him harder than anyone, not that he could win anyway.
The only way for any Pub candidate to win in'08 is to draw from independents and those "Reagan Democrats" who will crossover to a nominee of substance. Dubyah won in 2002 because of the Pervert from Hope's effect on the nation and that the fact that Gore's lunacy was, fortunately, visible to just enough of the public to do him in.
I continue to have grave doubts that Newt would be able to draw from the constituency that I've described above. However, I also hear those who, rightly, champion the need to run hard on the Conservative message. Newt is at a crucial juncture; he must, IMHO, go out at every opportunity to test the waters. His description, this morning, of McCain was masterful as he quickly laid out the anti tax cut, anti free speech etc. aspects that must always be attached to the wandering John.

I don't disagree with you .. but in politics today .. it's all about sound bits and what they say
That's what people make their judgments on .. they don't have a clue of what really goes on in DC
