Yes, The Nation is a magazine. Katrina van den Heuval is heavily involved in that rag.

Agreed. It's a balance of reminding people versus stopping this giving them a platform to use.

Thanks. Not surprised. He got slick willie to lock up the clean burning coal in Utah in the name of conservation. It actually gave the Riady's of Indonesia an open market for their clean burning coal...at the expense of America.

Question .. has new housing developments been going up in those areas??No, just more expensive housing. Fairfax County is among the top three wealthiest counties in the country and adjoining Loudon is now the wealthiest. It says something about the DC area and the power of government, when counties like Fairfax and Loudon in VA and Montgomery in MD are among the top ten wealthiest counties in America.
In the past 10 years there has also been a huge influx of immigrants, mainly from Korea and El Salvador. Many of them are illegals. I live just a few miles from famous Herdon. I would also note that Falls Church has been trying to enforce zoning and fire laws by cracking down on landlords who are renting apartments where illegals live 15-20 to a two room apartment.

The dumbing down of America is enhanced by these moronic guests week after week spouting pure giberish, all the while pretending to be profound.

Tom DeLay recommended Nancy Pelosi for Person of the Year.
How ironic that she couldn't keep the troops in line on the very first vote.

I'm with you on DeLay. His heart has always been in the right place. Doing the right thing and not asking for credit or bragging about how much he's done.

Watching Senator Kerry on Fox News Sunday is like reading a case history on what not to do.
Most people think of intelligence in terms of SAT scores and IQ. True enough intellectual power augurs for success in academia as well as in many life endeavors.
Less well understood is the importance of "contentional" intelligence. That is intelligence about people, making contact with them, understanding them and predicting their goals, aspirations and beliefs.
I have met President Bush only briefly on only one occasion. His ability to make personal contact consistently individual by individual was awesome enough. One could see that quite dramatically when he greeted each and every graduating Air Force Cadet. His whole life history is one suggesting a high "contentional intelligence" which in combination with his background and family predicted his success.
To resume with Senator Kerry. He lacks contentional intelligence to a remarkable degree. Seemingly, he has no real understanding, empathy or what have you as to how people think and respond to what he says. How he has achieved his success is truly a mystery since IMHO he does not have that high a SAT score as well.
I don't think we have to worry about Senator Kerry. The MSM can puff him up, rescue him from his own misstatements and "misunderstandings" but they cannot make him a warm and thoughtful human being. Case report closed.

Did you know that at times Geraldo's show on FBS has surpassed Katie Couric's news. Now that is quite the best news! LOLOLOL...pore ole courie!

McCain is doing a Kerry on ABC. Now he says repealing Bush tax cuts is tax-hike (forget he never voted for one tax cut). On CFR, he said that Presidential fund-raising limits should be adjusted to inflation. Bush deserves SOME credit to the good economy. Why not say everything for it before against it?

I agree I cannot understand why they do not at least have a couple of programmes for the right wing/conserative viewers (or at least similar to what they used to do) after all the rest they can have there so called "fair and balanced" format if they so wish. As you say why will the left wing migrate to FNC does not make sense.

You know I wasn't serious! Imagine considering anything Rove would have to say on national affairs as being worthy of commentary.
The MSM would rather wither on the vine than have an intellectual discussion of issues.

Thanks anita. McCain continues to live up to our expectations of him.

Timmah does not reflect good breeding, and good intelligence which I know Buffalo natives are capable of possessing. He is totally in the tank for whatever left wing nut group can get him the most money, and publicity. We need to put up pictures blown up 50 times to billboard size in selective spots all over the country of Timmah's body language with Pubbies, and his body language with Rats. It is striking and so obvious that even the most unobservant among us would notice. I think a billboard of Barney Frank with his hand on the butt of the Young Aide plastered all over the Bible belt will do wonders to wake some sleeping people up in a heartbeat.

Truth is the rats may have a few more numbers in both houses but they can't do anything without our help or support. If they succeed it will be because we caved somewhere along the line.
I just tried to watch this guy Webb on mtp but he is an obvious socialist! He was worried because 1% of the population gets 16% of the wealth, maybe he should just go to cuba or china, he might be happier.
Dems who want to cure the woes of the economy through govt. make guys like the late Milton Friedman turn over in their graves. And what a truly great American he was.
Here are a few links to his recent death.

"I don't know how Wallace's ratings compare with the Tony Snow era. Not much different, I'd guess.
Tony Snow was getting 1.85 million. Wallace's is reduced to 1.2 million."
Tony started FNS and his ratings were increasing about 5% every year while the others were stagnant or decreasing. Then someone (Ailes?) decided that they needed a New York liberal as host like, Russert and Stephi. They hired Wallace whose liberal pedigree is impecable. Since then the ratings have dropped.
I only watch the last half hour for the roundtable and even at that I mute the sound when Kristol speaks.
