The left has proven they can tell a bunch of lies and eventually someone will start believing them.

In that closest of races in Montana, Reid's bait & switch
may have pulled just enough votes, too, to make the difference. How's it feel in Montana to get screwed by Dems. It won't be the last time, so embrace it.

Wallace asks if Reid and Schumer didn't call Kerry and tell him to stand down. He doesn't answer but rather says it was his decision. In other words, they did call him.

Maybe Rush's response is the best one to use: let's raise the minimum wage to $20 or more an hour.

I'm not happy that Wallace is giving Lurch a platform to bloviate from. He's a footnote now if we don't ask him any more questions not to answer.

Webb won because of a number of factors here in VA. First, the state is starting to trend Dem. Northern VA is becoming a Dem stronghold, which impacts the entire state because of demographics. The election of Kaine as governor following Warner was an indicator of this continuing trend, which became evident in 2004, when Fairfax County went for Kerry, the first time a Dem presidential candidate did that in 40 years. Question .. has new housing developments been going up in those areas??
The reason I ask is because the county I live in use to be very heavily republican territory
But years back the zoning laws were changed, properties were reassessed which caused taxes on farm lands to go up and ended with them selling land for new development homes
Which brought many of the libs from the Philly area

Only thing worth watching in the whole Line up is Jimmy Johnson on ABC. I'm a Tony Stewart fan, but since he's out of the running this year, I'm pulling for Johnson. He's come so close before, I hope he wins this time!

I think we are onto some interesting times. Couple of things I came to know of, which was un-reported or under-reported.
When Lieberman lost in dem.primary race, Rove was the first one to call with offer of any support. Just after Lieberman was declared elected, Rove received a call of thanks from Matt. (Matt? - Matthew Libermann, son of Lieberman who is a successful businessman & admirer of the Prez).
Nancy Pelosi became grand mother on the next day she visited WH, but Alexandra Pelosi received flowers from the WH before she saw her daughter. Nothing in this, only that she is liked by everyone at WH & she like & respect our Prez too.

Jon Carry: "America has lost its moral authority in the world." Now that's an upbeat message. Now he's telling me what the American people voted for.

My guess is they will save their impeachment card until near the end and with any luck at all it too will backfire.Disagree. There will be no impeachment card played. They will investigate and smear the Rep administration, but the Dems know that their continued hold on power will depend on how the public perceives them. You will continue to hear the Dem party line that they want bipartisanship and will treat the Reps better than they treated them.
The MSM will act as a megaphone for this line. The Dems are back in power and we have returned to the natural order of things. Congress is working better as a new spirit of bipartisanship is there. The Dems are trying to build a record of accomplishment for 2008. They won't show their true colors until after that election. The Dems will protect their freshmen "moderates" by setting a Congressional agenda that will not force them into positions that will alienate their constituencies. They will even allow them to vote no on certain bills to show their independence and moderatenesss.

Kerry interview on Fox...Political interviews are a dance with words.
He says, "...the political attack machine of the Republican apparatus". Am I part of a 'machine'?
"Picayune?" Who talks like this?
He talks but says nothing.
That reminds me...I've got litter boxes that need cleaning.

Thanks! I'll look for that. There is no question in my mind that the Democrats realized how Kerry was hurting them and told him to get out of the limelight.

Congressman Moran alluded to the fact that some of the newbies promised Murtha they would vote for him but then voted for Hoyer. He suggested that since they're new they'd get a pass but he knew who they were.
There is going to be a bloodletting sooner rather than later with some of the blue dogs.

It is very sad that Turner makes a lot of money off Conservatives. He does not make anything off me because I will not watch any of his networks period. There are plenty of other places on a 110 channel Satellite dish where you can watch classic movies. Since I am not an old movie buff, but my Husband is I can almost repeat lines from these movies even if I am not paying attention. What we all have to do is research the alternatives, and ask for guidance from other freepers where this alternative programming can be found. Turner and other Radicals think they have our number, and they can heap abuse in the form of their Leftist Propaganda along with the Programming that we desire. The jig is up for them, I would hope....
