Yes, he has almost become a metaphor for the decadence of morality -- actual morality, whatever you or I think.
No thanks. You first. :o)
Let me be clear about this:
Mancow excited and incited young men and women to experiment in the kinds of fornication and adultrey that utterly scorned any other component to the sexual relationship but mutual physical excitement -- and some of the most lurid and dangerous kinds.
"It's OK. More than that, it's fun! It's cool! It's what's to do!"
No.
It's STD's.
It's unwanted pregnancy and millions of unborn children killed.
It's the deterioriation of sense, sensibility, and soul.
It's the destruction of human relationship, marriage, and family.
It's dehumanization.
It's affrontery and rebellion against God, Himself (He said so, it's not my idea).
Yes, it's sin. Big, bad sin.
It's death.
I watched him many times on Fox & Friends and his views were always Republican.I have no problem with him. I do have a problem with some of the lady hosts who really lean left, and Gretchen Carlton is TERRIBLE on Fox & Friends!
A. He's funny.
B. He's the anti-Stern.
C. FOX need something on the weekends besides Newswatch.
D. If you don't like it, don't watch.
My calling you a self-righteous prig would be ad hominem if you'd bothered to frame an argument. Simply dictating your premises about morality and the DECAY (not decadence) thereof is certainly no basis of debate. I don't suppose you'd considered how offensive your tone could be to someone who disagrees with your definitions of morality.
What evidence do you proffer that "Mancow excited and incited young men and women to experiment in the kinds of fornication and adultrey that utterly scorned any other component to the sexual relationship but mutual physical excitement -- and some of the most lurid and dangerous kinds." [sic]
Have you considered he was just joking around?
Forgive me if I'm having a hard time believing the end of society is at hand because an unhinged religious zealot has a bee up his bum about Mancow having a thumb up his.
You have much to learn, youngjim, and I don't just mean about English usage. I've given you my testimony. I don't need evidence. I didn't exactly tape record it. Ask him, yourself.
But I'll defer to whatever "unhinged religious zealot" you're writing to, to respond further.
If he has already been on Fox for years, how is it that you claim they have just now slipped into the sewer? I don't understand the sense of outrage.
I still contend that Fox and Friends, when viewed with a functioning brain is a thousand times better than any minute wasted on the Today Show.
"sic" is latin for "thus", or "so." This indicates a spelling error or in this case a grammatical error. The error here is the joining of "decadence" (a noun) with the preposition "of" and another noun "morality." This usage would indicate the writer means a quality of morality is "decadence" which we can dismiss prima facie as absurd. The writer should have used "decay" of morality. "[D]ecay" can be a noun or verb in context, but in this context it is undoubtedly a verb acting on the direct object "morality".
That's mighty white of you to go ahead and make my point for me, daddio. Meanwhile I'll go back to ignoring you and you can go on daring to be dull.

Good night, yj.
In your future public correspondence, I'd suggest you refrain from racist references.
I'll give the guy a chance. If it stinks, then I will tune out. It's just that simple.
He has been a Christian since childhood.
Amen to that!
But FOX isn't just news. If you missed it, it carries a good deal of entertainment as well.
Like O'Reilley. His show is just basic commentary and SOMETIMES is might be centered around the story of the day, but frequently it is not.
Greta's show is based on the mystery of note. No one needs to watch five hours of Natalie Halloway a week to keep abreast of the situation.
Fox's aim is to hit a wider audience, and they are very successful at it. The hiring of Mancow fits into their goals.
If you are so outraged, maybe you should stick to watching Brian Williams in the evening to get your thirty minutes of news.
Or you could just read the headlines on FR. But be careful, you might be disappointed if the posters aren't as highbrow as you.
Some of us like Mancow. I'm gonna DVR his new show and try to catch it.
Anyway, now that the election is over for two more years why would it hurt FNC to air a program like that for one hour a week out of whatever seven times 24 is?
If you have standards as to what airs on cable, watch the networks.
I'm not talking about highbrow, I'm talking about very low lowbrow. Mancow may have reinvented himself lately, but if he hasn't publicly renounced his outrageous radio and TV programs of approx. ten years ago, it's in poor taste to present him as a celebrity for mass entertainment.
By probability, there are many who have died by now, from being enticed into doing the degrading things he pushed and told stories about. Many others, who have abused themselves and others, spiritually, physically, and lastingly, at his prompting. He sold extreme immorality. Wholesale.
