Manic radio personality Erich "Mancow" Muller is taking his act to TV.

The syndicated radio host, and frequent guest on Fox News Channel's "Fox and Friends" program, now has a show of his own on that network.

Welcome to "Planet Mancow," which is scheduled to debut Saturday night at 9 p.m. Eastern on Fox News Channel.

Muller plans to tackle 9/11 conspiracies, celebrity mysteries, and assorted other topics in his first show, including a revealing piece on eclectic actor William Shatner, whom he befriended when they were both appearing on "Fox and Friends.”

I thought he got married, got born again and had a baby. He makes good conservative points on Fox and Friends sometimes.

I hope there's something to that. (I hope there's alot to that.) If there is, he should be very explicit about the change in his nature, which is called a "testimony."

The point is, of course, that spreading bad influences throughout society, to others, is injurious to others' mentalities. And what people choose to relate with, consider, and accept into their minds and souls affects what they believe and how they regard others. And that in turn, affects how they treat others.

So, you would set yourself up as arbiter of what is acceptable and what is not. Making the choice for others because they just might make a bad decision and have thier weak little minds unsettled?

I DON'T THINK SO SUNSHINE.

We've had many people try that very thing down through the ages. And it has always caused more problems than it solved.

He never has time to talk long on Fox and Friends but he has said enough over a few months for me to gather that information and to believe it to be true. He's been convincing in the particulars even if he had no time for any kind of testimony.

Mancow and his wife are Catholic, and yes, they had a baby, two in fact, twin girls.

I think he is way funnier than Stern.

Not a very high standard.

"Savage.....the genius turned lunatic fringe. The Michael Moore of the "Right".....

You've got a real point there.

Remember how Moore was outed as a stockholder in Halliburton who sends his kids to private school and whose production crew is lily-white? A total hypocrite.

Well, Savage "of the Right" was outed this last election as giving the legal maximum to the campaign of no less than ex-Governor Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown, who ran (successfully, thanks to folks like Savage) for California's Attorney General.

And, newly elected as top cop of the world's fifth largest economy, Brown promptly announced that the top priority of his office will be to enforce the laws against... get ready for this... global warming.

Thanks a lot, Michael Savage "of the Right". Yeah, sure.

It's very difficult to communicate matters of common sense with someone who either doesn't have it, or doesn't admit to it. However, in America, we have sensibilities against things like naked orgies in public and believe that network television broadcasts are public media.

And no, of course if I came up with the idea of decency, I wouldn't expect others to hold to it. However, such matters are usually agreed to by a great majority of people who have a conscience informed in the manner common to Western Civilization.

You go be a Libertarian though, if you must be.

Ouch, you wound me. Such harsh words from one of the illuminated ones. Thankfully, your ideas of common sense are relative to yourself alone. I have grave doubts that many measure up to your exacting standards.

However, in America, we have sensibilities against things like naked orgies in public and believe that network television broadcasts are public media.

So, Mancow is going to be staging orgies on his little weekend program. Well that's one way to insure ratings. No, I doubt it's going to be Sodom and Gomorrah on Ice, as much as you would love a reason for your outrage.

And no, of course if I came up with the idea of decency, I wouldn't expect others to hold to it.

No, you're happy as a little lark condemning those who don't. Torquemada would consider you a kinsman.

However, such matters are usually agreed to by a great majority of people who have a conscience informed in the manner common to Western Civilization.

Hmmm... And we all know just how much wisdom is found in the majority. Speaker Pelosi agrees with you, the majority always gets it right. Sure....

You go be a Libertarian though, if you must be.

You're fairly wide of the mark there Annie Oalkey, try again. Still, better a libertarian than a self-righteous prig with delusions of grandeur.

That has been the level of decadence of morality in the radio and TV programs I've witnessed. That is the level of the media personality Mr. Muller has developed and apparently which Fox News chooses to publicize.

Morality is what it is and does not change, not even for those who choose to pass it off as some odd collection of the imaginations of others. And, "as a man thinks in his heart, so is he."

A libertine attitude dismantles the shared responsibilites which support liberty, so your elders in our history tell you. Block your ears and sing your own special tune though, so you don't hear.

I'll let the rest of your characterizations speak for themselves and for yourself.

Mancow better be careful. Al Gore might accidently think he's Manbearpig and kill him.

That's really funny.

And what people choose to relate with, consider, and accept into their minds and souls affects what they believe and how they regard others. And that in turn, affects how they treat others. Some do argue against that point -- but they haven't made any sense, yet.

We can't have people making up their own minds on what they will consider can we.

I'd much rather live in that world or country than live in one where self appointed do-gooders or worse yet...the government, make that decision for us.

I'll check Mancow out, I liked his appearances on H&C. But I also like Glen Beck over on CNN. He had a great interview with Benjamin Netenyahu last night.

1. Broadcast (and cable TV) networks are public conduct. All civilized cultures have standards for public decency.

2. We are all appointed to be do-gooders, like it or not, you have no choice.

Dude, where is the love for the Mancow? I've listened to him occasionally over the years and as he gets older he's mellowed out considerably. The comparison to Stern may have been true 10 years ago, but his show has definately throttled back over the year last few years. I believe he lost his gig recently in Chicago as he was becoming too mainstream Wally Phillips-esque.

I took some time to look over you home page before I posted this. To this casual observer, it seems your concerns about the man stem from his libertarian positions more than his "salacious" act. He's become a metaphor for the "decadence of morality" [sic] you've witnessed.

Thank God for the first amendment, that it protects us from small-minded prigs as yourself.

I have yet to see "public orgies" on basic cable or dish.

Fox News and America will survive, morals intact, Mancow having his own weekly show. Those who disdain anti-nanny libertarianism though may come a little unglued.

Just what would I do to people, as a "small minded prig," that one must have a national constitution, to prevent government from doing? (And why do you see some need for an ad hominem attack?)

BTW, your presumption is incorrect. I haven't heard Mancow on Fox News. I only recall his thoroughly raunchy and loud sexual perversity on the radio and TV. (It was played on the radio in my workplace, by a young man who later died of cocaine.)

Also such things as hopping around naked on TV, with a woman's thumb in his anus.

If you have found any public apology for that kind of public conduct from Mancow, that would be good to relate.
