I would disagree. While Lott and Boehner may not be my first choice the facts are that Lott served as majority leader for about 6 years and held our majorities(not including when we got Jefford-ed). Boehner is not a bad pick, sensible and knows how to win. Give him a chance.

I agree on both men. Boehner will now get a chance without Hastert as the Speaker to prove to the naysayers on here that he was the man for the job IMHO. Boehner was part of drawing up the Contract with America with Newt.

I hope Mitch McConnell is still as good as he used to be. Lott better do a good job. I wouldn't cross Mitch.

sadly, these two creep were delay's hand pick K street cronies after he step down. these idiots were warned in early 2006 by RNC pollsters that the illegal bill was split the repub base and to do something. these k streeters did not want to piss off the big agribusiness, developers, etc.. and decided to string the bill along and sign a fence bill with no ceremony or funding. these two idiots talked foley into staying after he said he wanted to retire . do anyone need to know anymore why these idiots are a disaster for the rnc ? these two were k street's and delay choices again.
