You Got it! And we are still being negative and whining! It's over, they won.
Let's help the Democrats self destruct by making FUN of them at every opportunity!
That is the one thing, like the Muzzies, their giant Egos cannot stand for!

Spend the next two years treating them like Human Fire Hydrants (including the MSM) as they have done to us!
Be funny, be sarcastic, be truthful.. but do not resort to the gutter which keeps getting deeper, thanks to the moonbat coalititon!
Have faith and humiliate kindly.

I have already spoken to my Demo nut family as America having had an "Oprah" moment and employing the "Junior High Prom Queen" to be third in Line to the succesion of the Presidency!
Ask your fiends and neighbors if they know what a "Whip" is in Government.. when they look at you stupidly and you explain kindly
Maybe they will think twice about their vote next time..
if we are still here that is.
Shut their hanging jaws for a few.
Hang in there gang
We have a tough row to hoe.

>>Bush has always been a closet Democrat

So was his dad.<<

Disclaimer: I have never voted anything but straight Republican.

BUT

How do we consistently get handed wishy-washy, substandard candidates like George Bush I, Bob "Clammy" Dole, and George W. Bush?

>>Or maybe that was in the plan where the Preseident signed CFR so the Dem 527s would to outspend the Rs. So many good plans, hard to keep them straight.<<

And when he signed CFR, he said it was unconstitutional and the Supreme Court would no doubt overturn it (which they didn't).

Another BRILLIANT plan. The brainpower behind that one was truly astounding.

By a movement withing the GOP called Rockefeller Republicans. Ford was the first to actually make it to POTUS. Poppy didn't win on his name but rather the Reagan Legacy which he immediately destroyed. He was as liberal as Clinton and lost. The GOP Conservatives went elsewhere and if they hadn't went elsewhere they would have stayed home.

Something else happened between Poppy's being booted out and Bob Dole that few talk about. We all know the GOP won both houses in 1994. But very few talk about the fight that occurred in the party and took control of the party agenda from the Conservatives. There was a major power play against Newt. One of them involved was Bill Paxon. You may remember his wife who was one of Doles 1996 keynote speakers Susan Molanari who was also in congress during this. Simply put the Conservatives lost control of the GOP and the Rockefeller's again took over.

The Rockefeller GOP controls the RNC which controls the money. The GOP congress has not been Conservative led since early 1996. What made matters worse was since 2000 there has been an ongoing effort from the White House to purge the party of Conservatives and replacing them with moderates. This led to the Nov. 7 revolt. It cost the GOP it's Conservative base but it also cost the GOP Conservative DEM crossovers and as a result some DEM blue dogs won.

I don't know if that bill hurt Talent - I heard that lack of money at the end hurt - and I still think that that horrible Fox commercial hurt although there was a counter ad by Patricia Heaton and others. There is too much misinformation out there about stem cell research. Talent supports stem cell reserach - not EMBRYONIC stem cell research which is what a selfish person like Michael J. Fox supports. I sent hundreds of dollars to Santorum by the way and he lost big.

I think we all need to go back and read JimRob's statement about what FR stands for. No wonder we lost, all this infighting. Everyone wants everything exactly their way. No one can agree 100% and no one wants to give an inch. So we throw the baby out with the bath water.

Okay:

Free Republic is the premier online gathering place for independent, grass-roots conservatism on the web. We're working to roll back decades of governmental largesse, to root out political fraud and corruption, and to champion causes which further conservatism in America. And we always have fun doing it. Hoo-yah!

I don't see anything that says we have to be Bushbots.

Thank you. I visited your profie. My thank you to all your family members who serve to keep freedom.

About my tagline, this is the elaboration:

I am a social conservative, but I think it's time for us to set our priority right.

We like to criticize liberals for choosing 'high culture' over fighting against Islamofacists because we think that path may lead to our demise. But, apparently we do similar thing. What's the point of pushing for getting a "Christian" president if it results in Hillary (or any other Dim) presidency, which is more likely to surrender to international pressure including pressures from Islamic countries?

We like to say that WoT is a war for our survival: to protect our life-style, civilization, etc. And we look down upon liberals for complaining about 'human rights violation'. The way I see it, we are doing the same thing: we are complaining about 'life of the babies', 'gay marriage', etc.. at the expense of our own (and/or the future generation's) lives.

True, but I don't think we will ever win again unless we unite and stop all the bickering and different factions in our movement.

"Conservative twits abandoned the President and the Republicans, blame them for the loss, then bitch cause they aren't listened too."

I need to take issue with your characterization A.Hun - They may have abandoned the President and Republican Party, and it is clear that they are quick to cast blame for their (mis)fortunes, but anyone who undertook such a selfish and cowardly deed is most certainly NOT A CONSERVATIVE!

The dominos begin to fall.. I think many Conservatives sealed their fate when they stayed home on election day... You know with that old mantra of we have to hold them accountable...

Hard to tell what the real back story is here. My guess is that Rove is leaving and had planned on leaving at this point all along. I would further speculate that attaching the bipartisanship angle to Rove's long planned for departure is simply an attempt to tack on political points for free.

My guess is that you are right. Thanks to the Plame scam, Rove and his family have racked up huge attorney bills. No doubt he's sick of the sharks nipping at him everyday. It's obvious Karl didn't have his head in this election. Maybe it was because he got too caught up on worrying about getting indicted and finally got sick of the ruthless politics. Whatever the reason, if Rove does leave, it's another win for the dems.
