JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Miss Israel has been given permission not to carry her assault rifle during service in the Israeli army because she says it bruises her legs.

That's alright for now and at 18 yrs. Wait a few years, marriage, and a couple of kids and I think she'll be awesome, widthwise, that is. Much like my girl at 49 good ones.
If you've looked at how a lot of soldiers' rifles are slung these days when on patrol, they beat a soldiers legs pretty good unless his has a hand on the weapon to steady it.
Been there....carried one. Unless the rifle is slung tight across the back, one simply cannot let it drop and swing freely when 2 hands are needed for other things.
