Tasers are the coming wave in pain compliance. Why? Because they have no lasting effects. The minute the taser quits the person is back to normal.
Tasers are meant to incapacitate a violent person. It is a device designed to make sure you can't get up. Using it to make someone get up is idiotic. What part of this don't you understand?

What part of this don't you understand? The part that isn't true? Sure youcan't get up during the energy discharge, but you can get up as soon as the energy discharge stops. The taser only incapacitates while the energy is messing up the nerve signals to muscles.

The taser lasts from three to five seconds only each time the trigger is pulled. That's it.
So, the person doesn't comply to your repeated instructions you pull the trigger. It hurts real bad. You get the person's attention. Then you start on the commands again. Just like in the video. "Stand up!" -non compliance- "Stand up or you are going to get tased"-see? Tasers are meant to not only shortly incapacitate violent persons (remember the length the taser sends a shock can only last three to five seconds per trigger pull and the computer in the taser records the length of time and number of times the trigger is activated.) but to be a way to gain compliance with people refusing to cooperate as an option to hands on control.
So. It is not idiotic. It demonstrates you don't know anything about tasers and their use or design.
