Had to search for this thread because it's no longer on the side bar. I have been in email contact with a soldier, based out of Kuwait who travels into Iraq frequently. Says they've been ordered to keep their gas masks close by. He makes another statement which leads me to trust Race's info even more. I won't post any further details about his unit for opsec.
More than I got out of my youngest in Baghdad. Seriously the young man keeps his mouth shut.
Sometimes I just wish He didn't have quite so much faith in me...
Heaven only knows how much bio/chemical weapons are yet to be found and destroyed. Lord willing our men and women shall be deligent in keeping their masks well in reach.
BTTT. Thanks Race. Informative thread.
KUWAIT: A hardline Iranian group has threatened to send suicide bombers to attack pro-American Gulf neighbours if the United States uses its military bases to strike Iran. "If the bases in these countries are used as a launch pad for the attacking US forces, why should they expect to remain secure while we are not?" Faroz Rajai, commander of the so-called Martyrs Battalions, told Kuwait's Al-Rai newspaper. "If some of them (Gulf states) provides a base or a camp for America to use in striking Iran, is it logical that they should expect to enjoy security," Rajai said in an answer to a question if her group would send suicide bombers to Gulf states.
The battalions are made up of "martyrdom seekers" - or suicide attackers - who registered as volunteers with the Committee for the Glorification of Martyrs of the Global Islamic Movement. Rajai said the Committee was founded in 2002 and currently has five battalions with about 56,000 potential suicide attackers ready to carry out operations. Iran is under mounting international pressure over its disputed nuclear programme, seen in the West as a cover for weapons development, and the United States has not ruled out a possible military option. -- AFP

I got one of those too - he was close to Baghdad.
Glad your soldier is home, and thankful that mine are too.
He isn't. He is still just where we were talking about.
Carolyn
Sorry.
Mine is very close mouthed, too. "Mom, I can tell you this, but don't ask me about that." I have a lot of respect for the young man.
I hope you have a good Thanksgiving. It's definitely a mixed blessing - worried and proud and thankful all at the same time. Thanks to you.......
Same here CDHart! I continuously search to see if there is any thing relating or mentioning something, but nothing yet.
no news that I heard
Often weapons caches are boobytrapped. The best way to blow them is place a detonator in some of the explosives there and walk away. If you try to unload the cache it tends to blow up in your face. As for testing, how you gonna test it? open up and defuse each shell and test its contents in a laboratory?
Just does not work that way...
Because, in the end, America is to be discredited for its adventure in Iraq by the Globalists. Even though the Anthrax spores released in America after 911 were weaponized with the Bentonite method, the Iraq way of doing it. Only Iraq has that process down, and its use was like a fingerprint on its source.
But not worth the news because...
Anything new?
