Yes but Brit said we can vote more than once which gives the wrong impression. We can vote only once per login name, maybe you can delete a cookie or something and vote again but how many will do that?

He quoted FreeRepublic...said it was non scientific, but out of 6000+ votes, it came out 90.1% against McCain, and 9.9% for McCain. He wound up saying McCain seems to be really not supported by conservatives.

I think most people would hold their nose and vote for McPain if it came down to him and Hillary.

Doesn't matter. McLame is going to get shoved down our throats, anyway. The Beast must be salivating.

Brit's point (unspoken) is that it will be virtually impossible for McCain to get the GOP nomination since most primary voters are conservative activists (like us!).

Al Rueters ^
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Arizona Sen. John McCain, taking the first step toward a 2008 White House bid, said on Thursday a return to principles of limited government and "common sense conservatism" would carry Republicans back to power after last week's election drubbing. "We lost our principles and our majority. And there is no way to recover our majority without recovering our principles first," McCain told the Federalist Society, a conservative legal group, in the first of two high-profile speeches kicking off his expected presidential campaign. McCain, an early favorite in what promises to be a crowded Republican presidential field, filed...

No. It shows how little the GOP Leadership has learned from last Tuesday's defeats.

Brit's panel think McCain can mend fences and become the nominee in 08.

That's because they all live inside the cesspool we call DC.

They should listen more carefully to FR - without us, mclame doesn't stand a chance.

Thank Heaven! mclame 2008 stinks.

Brit (unspoken) or spoken isn't the one who decides. So far, how many Republicans have done the exploratory thing? Yet, the medis only gives us "McCain".....every word he utters is reported, breathlessly. He has a built to order campaign central. And he nauseates me.
