Sorry sorry sorry. It's not Free to Choose, it's The Power of Choice, Friedman's biography by the producer of the Free to Choose series.

So yes, you were correct in posting that we need to contact PBS about rerunning Free to Choose. I will right now!

Here is the email response I got:

Thank you for writing to PBS. We appreciate hearing from those interested in public television.

PBS values suggestions from our viewers. Unfortunately, our rights to FREE TO CHOOSE have expired and we therefore may not broadcast or sell this program. We apologize for the disappointment. You will be happy, however, to hear that PBS plans to distribute a program in late January called "The Power of Choice : The Life and Ideas of Milton Friedman." Please be sure to check your local PBS station's listings to see when the program is airing in your area.

Thank you again for writing to PBS. We hope you continue to enjoy and support your local PBS station.
gotta love the canned "continue to enjoy and support" line....maybe I have a bad memory but I can't think of any other current PBS shows worth watching much less enjoying and supporting...suppose I should be grateful for one....
