President Carter Could Lead U.N. Investigation of Israel

UNITED NATIONS — As Palestinian Arab rockets struck two Israeli towns yesterday, U.N. bodies prepared to launch no fewer than two overlapping "fact-finding" missions to second-guess Israel's anti-terrorist tactics.

President Carter could head one of those missions.

The U.N. General Assembly is expected to convene a special emergency session tomorrow to deal with the November 8 Israel Defense Force artillery strike on the northern Gaza town of Beit Hanoun, which killed 19 civilians.

A draft resolution for the assembly session calls on the U.N. secretary-general to establish a fact-finding mission into the event and requests that he report back to the assembly in a month.

And yesterday in Geneva, the U.N. Human Rights Council, which in its five months of existence has failed to pass one resolution on any country other than Israel, concluded its third emergency session on the Jewish state.

In the session's resolution, the council called on its president, Ambassador Alfonso de Alba of Mexico, to establish a fact-finding mission to investigate the incident at Beit Hanoun.

A diplomat in Geneva who requested anonymity said the sponsors of the resolution are planning to ask Mr. Carter to head the investigation.

Perhaps the whole thing has been intentional, and he' not merely a cowardly moron.

You could be on to something. He is just so damn good at being a cowardly moron and useful idiot, I never thought anything of it. Truly, nobody could be as genuinely stupid as he seems to be.

This story is absolutely incredible and mind bogglingly depressing! Carter? Mr. Anti Semite pro terror himself running things against Israel? Cripes- if that happens, Israel might jusy as well surrender now and give up all hope of being a nation ever again. AND we, as a nation had better prepare for God's wrath on us as well if we abandon support for Israel due to Carter's insistance.

LOL...this is a joke.

Allowing Jimmuh to investigate Israel is akin to getting Adolf Eichmann investigating the Holocaust.

I agree. This is so surreal and actually quite depressing. We have this kind of nonsense to look forward to for the next 2 years. Jimmah and McGovern, so far.

Jimmy sanctions leftist regimes
I fear, (not trying to be histrionic) we may see poor Israel wiped out in our time ‘cause of leftist like Jimmy

The U.N. Human Rights Council is a joke

At my kids college the other day
It was International Day
They had a sign with all countries, nations listed

Palestine not Israel was on the list
No kidding

They could start with investigating Operation Cyclone - when Jimmuh and ol' Zbigniew created Al Queda back in '77.

[And yesterday in Geneva, the U.N. Human Rights Council, which in its five months of existence has failed to pass one resolution on any country other than Israel, concluded its third emergency session on the Jewish state.]

The United Nations, whose membership is composed of 2/3 of national leaders who are murderers, tyrants and liar and who are admired by the alway's slandering and hatefilled leftist fools who dare to call themselves wise, are once again on the warpath against the Lord's chosen people Israel.
We see here the typical liberal communist(aka, progressives) attempt to slander Israel and destroy her and America's sovereignty in the U.N.'s mad quest to create the one world order prophesied in the bible to bring in the man of sin and the anti christ (aka, the beast), as God has warned all who beleive on His only begotten son Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
I pity their poor souls in the coming 7 year wrath of God on those who resist Christ Jesus freely offered salvation.

But W has been inexplicably out to lunch in calling this miserable old sack of sh!t and is ilk out on this type of behavior. I can't say what I'm really thinking here. I'm sure you can figure out why.

W will not leave the 'old shool' of how one speaks about former presidents. Carter and Clinton left, of course; but for sure; theirs is not good company to join; and W, won't.

That said; I think it different when you are attacked by ex-prez's; think you should 'rise' to the occasion; and shout out the truth of these traitors.

You and I think alike.

That said, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I think I'm going to be sick at the prospect of that Jew-hater daring to set foot on Israel's sacred ground and decide their future.

May the wrath of God fall on him and not on us!
