Hi All-

What a fascinating "mechanical marvel" story. I too would love to see the bulldozer in action pulling this historic tank from the mud. Talk about horsepower and torque!

Similar machine to what they used to pull it out. A dozer this size is generally relegated to pit 7 qrarry work, it's about at the limit for road transport.

Don't know if I would have wanted to stand that close to a large object being pulled up by cables, but they seemed to have a pretty good crowd for the event.

Seems the T34/76 and T34/85 are still in service today - Cuba for one, still has them in active service. IIRC the IDF had used some of them till recently.
