If this is a Soviet tank, then why does it have German markings?

If this is a Soviet tank, then why does it have German markings?Probably because the Germans took it from teh Soviets. Ammo and spare parts were probably easier to get for Soviet tanks than for German.

I saw a picture of a German Tiger with US markings. It was abandoned during the Battle of the Bulge. I think the tank is down at Aberdeen Proving Grounds (MD) on display in their tank park.
