I don't think you are right. Tamil Tigers wear turbans and cary kirpins the same as Sihks, and are present in India as well as Shri Lanka. I guess they are trouble where ever they go.
Sometimes you will see them on Collage Campus's trying to raise money (which is illegal) and they run like hell when you confront them about it.

There may well be some ethnic "Tamilese" in the movement, but, Tamil Tigers itelf is a religious group or rather, a terrorist group parading around as a religious group, and dress in traditional Sihk garb or very simular.
