I love Rick. Please dont get me wrong...nor should you assume I live in VT (read the tagline.)

I just think we have to change our thinking and our candidates.

The GOP blew it. Its time to get rid of the old school guys and that means losing some good people. But, its necessary to move past the big spending, greedy, guys who have been running things.

We need a conservative party that keeps spending in line, taxes low, and defense as strong as possible. We need to them focus on the real issues, not put flag burning up to another vote.

We need leaders who can get serious and get things done.

Santorum is the only Senator that I've ever taken the time to write to, outside of the idiots that MA sends to DC every six years. It is too bad that PA couldnt get him back.

That said, if he couldn't win his own state, he isnt going to be effective in the national race.

Thank you for your response and your patience with me regarding my failure to read your tagline. I apologize. My parents live in Vermont. They love the countryside, but hate the way the state has been taken over by socialists. It's really obscene up there. I spent six (6) months up there in '05, and I simply could not believe the way the place is run. And Pennsylvania is no Heaven on Earth, but Vermont is outrageous. Natives who find it distasteful are so discouraged. The roads are like something out of the Stone Age and natives themselves refer to it as the "Welfare State."!! It is too bad because as I'm sure you are well aware given your tagline, it is beautiful.

Please forgive me for not reading your tagline and therefore making an unfair assumption.

As for Rick Santorum, I believe we have not seen the last of him by any means. Individuals such as Rick cannot be kept down.
