SD, I am in awe of, and so grateful for, your family. Where would we be as a nation without families like yours?
May God continue to bless you and your family.

SD, I lost my Dad last year at Thanksgiving. He was 10 years older but still far too young to have gone to Heaven as your Dad was. Thank you for sharing your tribute to your Dad. I'm sure he was proud of you and the rest of the family. Remember his wonderful life. That is how you manage to get through the tough times, especially the holidays.
God Bless your Dad and the rest of your family.

Joining your FReeper family in deepest appreciation for the life of your beloved father, and for the legacy of his wonderful family. Our hearts are in awe at the beauty of those who have stood guard over our precious freedoms ... may the Lord ever be praised for William Jess Pinnell ... American Patriot, Son of Liberty, Brother of Freedom. Eternal Peace now unto him, SoldierDad, and the Lord's protection over your son, and all those who continue to stand watch.

Bless you, SoldierDad. It's hard to lose someone you love as much as you did your father. I know that YOU are the same kind of man and father he was. Love, Mxxx

I have no words that seem adequate to express my thoughts from reading your post. That was a beautiful story. I will keep those words in my mind and my heart. As I live out the remainder of my life I will always remember that my father continues to know what I do, and is looking upon me even now.
Thank you so very much.

SoldierDad,
The loss of your father is difficult to bear but hopefully the warm memories of him will comfort your saddened heart and put a smile on your face, in time.
