Are Middle Eastern terrorists posing as Mexican immigrants?

Click to watch video

A warning from some Texas congressmen: Middle Eastern terrorists may be trying to pose as Mexican immigrants.

But is it a warning based on fact or politics?

Some people in Houston are worried about the message.

You couldn’t miss it during the election.

Texas politicians saying the border needed protection, not just to stop undocumented workers, but terrorists.

A month before the election, Mike McCaul, a congressman from a district northwest of Houston, released a report

(snip)

The FBI director has confirmed that there’s Middle Easterners with known al-Qaida connections assuming false Hispanic identities entering the United States illegally and disappearing," he said. (snip)

This is very old news.

Of course they are coming across. Hell, even the KGB infiltrated agents in through Mexico. OTM, DMML!

You want really scary? The wild smugglers paradise three-country border zone between Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay is teeming with jihadists. Bring'em in, train'em, teach'em some español, and move'em north. Old news indeed. Wouldn't be surprised if the large Syrian contingent in Argentina's Armed Forces slips them the bad stuff.

Like all of a sudden, Charlie Whitebread is supposed to know the difference between an Arab and a Mexican at 100 meters in the dark?

Thanks, yes I know about the other areas and that Venezuela supports them and furnishes them with visa/passports so they can enter other countries.

The last incident you referred to in your links was, sorry to tell you, nonsense. Our local sheriff was supposedly the one who had these guys in jail, and it's still a joke around here. Where the rumor started is anyone's guess.

BTW, according to Homeland Security, the ONLY middle-eastern terrorist incident along the U.S. Mexican border involved some yo-yo from Minnesota who was under the impression that he could get to Somalia to join a jihad via Mexico. Seeing there's no direct flight between the two countries, he was one confused white boy.

What about the first two links, including the press release from Muller? Is that nonsense?

"There are also moonbats who deny reality and want open borders on this forum, primarily for their own financial gain; at the behest of taxpayers and citizens."

Not only that; they are laboring under the delusion that the new welfare class will vote republican. Just like the blacks do after decades of freebies. Oh that's right: They vote solid D...my bad.

And there are some people on FR who are praying this is happening so they can use it as an issue to attack President Bush and the GOP some more.

Horse Pucky! No one *hopes* it's true, but many fear and/or believe it is.

If it is, whose fault is it? Whose watch did it occur on? Probably Billy Jeff's, but also on George W. Bush's. He, and the Republicans (formerly) in control of Congress have had 3/4 of the maximum possible time to fix the problem, if the problem still exists, they have to take responsibility for it.

I would add that after taking responsibility, they'd be obligated to "make it right", but alas they have run out of opportunity. You *know* the Dems aren't going to do anything about it. They'll more likely make things even worse.

It wasn't news to me either - but some folks don't believe it. ;-)

Velveeta, you have mail now to explain where we were going with the googles this morning.

It is possible that much of the Mexican border joins to UN Heritage sites and not so called U.S. land.

My eyes do not do maps, so have gone from memory, but there is a good chance that the Organ Pipe National Monument borders on the border, it will be close to it, and it is now UN land.

So will part of the California desert, I am thinking.

We may find that much of the Mexican border is owned by the UN, and the UN protested our planned border fence.

Calpernia tipped me off to the possibility there was a problem with the border ownership.

I heard the same thing about a problem heading to the International Court in the Hague about the UN claiming ownership of part of our border because of the national monuments being considered "UN land belonging to the citizens of the Earth" -- for most everyone in the US this sounds insane. However, there is all sorts of mischief moving everywhere just now.

Thanks to Maeve, for one more google.

The first is a petition against the UN for our land.
