Just another one of those little stories the Democrats hope you don't notice.

Okay, Ivan.
We have it documented that Iran DID send reps to Somalia for uranium, should the dems dispute a reason for us to go against Iran.
Glad we learned one thing from the Iraq War...to look for, and document "clues" ...

Quick, send Jihad Joe Wilson to Somalia!! I'm sure he will be able to discredit this report and "prove" to the satisfaction of the left that not only did Iran not seek uranium in Africa, but they never woulda, coulda, shoulda....... and if we're really lucky, Joe Wilson will STAY in Somalia....

One of these days, we will no longer be sitting around in our comfortable homes. Instead, we will be suffering and fighting for our very existence, and all because because the dims and other traitors in our country sat on their rears and did nothing.

Maybe I am missing something here but why does Somalia have 6 tonnes of uranium? Why hasn't the US purchased and secured that uranium from a poor and desolate country like Somalia?

Another relevant question is why hasn't someone bombed the Hell out of Iran's nuclear facilities?

You want to bomb the nuclear facilities? Do you really believe that our intelligence community is capable of identifying them? The same crowd that did all that yeoman work on Saddam's Iraq? The CIA that once received accurate information on Iranian schemes in Afghanistan, only to walk away from the sources that provided it? The CIA that, three times in the past 15 years or so, seems to have had its entire "network" inside Iran rolled up by the mullahs? And even if you believe that we have good information about the nuclear sites, are you prepared to deal with the political consequences, in Iran and throughout the region? Do we even know, with any degree of reliability, what those are? Look at the problems we now face in Pakistan, after a handful of innocents were killed in an assault against a presumed terrorist gathering. Then imagine, if you can, the problems following hundreds, or thousands of innocents killed in raids inside Iran. Are you prepared for that? Ledeen is well-respected when it comes to the issue of Iran.

Seems like Somalia's Uranium mine needs to be sealed up and made VERY dirty with perhaps a small, well placed nuke.
Any Iranians trying to dig up uranium after that will be very noticeable.

"Why hasn't the US purchased and secured that uranium from a poor and desolate country like Somalia?" Do you not recall what happened the last time we visited Somalia? Black hawk down ring any bells?
