Which means he is entirely "too conservative" for some of the RINO's here on FR to get behind.
I agree that there seems to be a lot of "diversity" around here lately :). But boy is this guy is clean (No Cunninghan surprises), then we are in luck. For a conservative, he has to have the smarts and the presence to command attention and respect all by himself, (because he won't get it from the MSM that's for sure)... I think Duncan has that quality.
I've never been a big fan of Newt. But know what? I've changed my mind. At this point I don't trust really any politician, except maybe Sessions. Most of them come with some baggage. Basically I just want someone that won't treat his enemies better then he does his friends, yes I refer to a certain someone on 1600 Penn Ave. Someone that makes the case for conservatism and doesn't seem to cower at the idea of issuing a VETO or calling Dems out for what they are. As of this moment Newt and Duncan Hunter shoot to the top of my list. I'd consider Romney, but given his positions seem to change based on the office he's running for I have real concerns the tough talker he's playing now won't sell us out down the line. I've been burnt once already...not eager for a second.
Hope on board the D train DC.
