Sen. John McCain will formally open his 2008 presidential exploratory committee by tomorrow a.m., an adviser said today.
The committee already a website and it will stream live the two speeches McCain delivers tomorrow before conservatives in Washington.
First, he addresses the Federalist Society. Later, he speaks to GOPAC.
There are better choices than LIEberals to run against LIEberals. Rudy is not the savior of the Republican party.
Yippee!!!
The guy that made it possible for Chuckie to filibuster judges like Alito...

Wants to lead the country. Well, that settles it. I am definitely voting in the GOP presidential primaries.
Against this creep. And if enough GOP voters actually buy the damn GOP fear tactics that McCain's better then Hillary so we have to support him? I will do everything in my power to emulate the good voters of R.I. and Ohio that deep sixed their traitors in the General because the party prevented an alternative they could support. Better to be rid of the Trojan Horses in our midst then welcome them in to finish the job.
So you think because you might be willing to stomach him because of Obama, that those millions of other conservatives that weren't sold on the Pelosi waving will suddenly change their minds and charge to the polls when Hillary's name is substituted? You're going to be in for a rude surprise then. Doesn't matter what you will do. Millions won't follow you. They didn't in '06, they didn't in '96 when Dole was on the ticket, and they won't on '08 with that lunatic on the ticket. So if you are really worried about Obama, you'd be better occupied in making it very clear McCain isn't an option and finding someone that is acceptable. because McCain WILL lose in '08.
I've never been a big fan of Newt. But know what? I've changed my mind. At this point I don't trust really any politician, except maybe Sessions. Most of them come with some baggage. Basically I just want someone that won't treat his enemies better then he does his friends, yes I refer to a certain someone on 1600 Penn Ave. Someone that makes the case for conservatism and doesn't seem to cower at the idea of issuing a VETO or calling Dems out for what they are. As of this moment Newt and Duncan Hunter shoot to the top of my list. I'd consider Romney, but given his positions seem to change based on the office he's running for I have real concerns the tough talker he's playing now won't sell us out down the line. I've been burnt once already...not eager for a second.
I was on board the day he announced!
You need to start a Duncan Hunter PING list!!
How many times can i vote NO!!?? No way, NO HOW!!!
TIA.
I'll take McCain for President over a Democrat any day of the week...
Gosh, that McCain Web site is awful somber and depressing. He couldn't throw in some color - like red, white, and blue?
Click on the donate link and use the fields to post your comment. That's what I did.
Thats because he is a bad canadate. We need to stop McCain he has been a carpet bagger his whole life and has been no good for AZ.
Stop McInsane now!
I have a good story about a guy who tried to get me to learn how to become better friends with McCain.
When I was 21 or so I worked in the bars in Phoenix. There was a popular older guy that would come in and buy a lot of drinks and knew everyone and he asked me If I want to go drinking on the town so I did. ( I didnt really know what gay was) so every one in a while for the next few week he would show up and we would go out and drink and he would buy and I was looking for girls and I thought he was too. Every place we went to everyone knew who he was and all said hi to him.
His name was John Browning. I think the same family as the gun maker so he said.
All was fun at the bars for a while but he kept offering things free to me ,which was vary strange. Then one day he asked if I wanted to meet John McCain I didnt know why I would want to but I said sure ( I had never even thought about poultices before)
The next day we went to some small room at the camelback in and about 20 or 30 people were there. Every one knew Browning and he and I shook hands a lot and he introduces me to everyone. Soon McCain came in and came over and shook my hand too and asked Browning who I was. We didnt talk much and I went looking for the free drinks and food.
A few days later Browning and I went out for more drinks this time he was really trying to get me to drink more ( I was really good and drinking parties ) so I did. After we got to his place I was ready to go to my car ( I wasnt really that drunk yet only 10 drinks or so not like my real drinking buddies 25 or so) but Browning kept saying I was too drunk to drive and should stay there. I finely said OK and the couch was fine
.. but then he started saying we need to share HIS bed? After way to many time of asking me to share it finely clicked. This man is GAY. I have never had a guy ask me this kind of thing before so I was not looking out for it.
I left and never went back. Browning never showed up at the bar again when I was there.
What this man does is recruit young boys for people to sleep with. I was fresh meat being paraded around for inspection.
I have no idea if McCain knew what Browning did but I find it hard to think that he didnt
I agree 100% that Hillary must suffer a smashing devastating defeat in 2008. But I still think that Romney will be the best Republican canidate in the primaries. I like Tancredo but it doesn't look like he would be able to build a national support base large enough to come even close to the likely GOP finalists. I noticed your Barbour and Steele ticket idea. I know very little about Haley Barbour other than he has good conservative and American principles. Living in Maryland, I have had the opportunity to hear Michael Steele speak many times. Although Steele lost to the extremely dull and far lefty Ben Cardin, Steele did manage to win one quarter of the African American vote. That's very impressive for any Republican and Conservative. If Steele does happen to be a running mate for someone in 2008, I can see him winning a lot of African American votes in the South, which could make the difference in a close election.
A little worried how Romney will fair with the large Evangelical base. We shall see...
Barbour is a TRUE Reagan conservative. He was the head of the RNC from 94-97 (The Newt Revolution) and served under Reagan. He has passed 6 Pro-Life laws and has made Miss. the "safest state in the union for an unborn child" says National RTL.
He IS the man!!!!!!!! I think if he was not SO dedicated to rebuilding Miss. he would run! I hope he reconsiders.
Michael Steele should be the VP choice for whoever runs. He is the man too!
I don't know if I could ever vote for McCain; even against (gulp) "the beast". He just seems unhinged and on the verge of a complete mental break down. I mean nearly every sentence he speaks seems to have some sort of seething anger, boiling just under the surface, behind it. It actually freaks me out a bit. What it comes down to is that I don't trust him with his finger on the big red button in the oval office. This has nothing to do with political party, his stand on issues or anything else of that nature. Maybe it's just me; but I don't think it is.
If our choice is Rudy or McCain, not only will I vote for Rudy, but I will volunteer for his campaign and make donations to it.
The purpose would be to ping everyone on the list whenever Hunter is in the news, etc..
And I don't know how to do it.:(
> LORD, SEND US A TRUE CONSERVATIVE TO VOTE FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From your keyboard to God's ears!!! Amen.
