The President needs to let the Dems know that he is the "DECIDER".

6 months ?
Doesn`t that coincide with the new fiscal year/budget?
Wouldn`t that be perfect opportunity to de-fund Iraq ?

I cannot believe this. Dayton is reading quotes from "State of Denial."

Wow ... we (our government) has assured and assured the Iraqi people that we will NOT leave them like we did after the Gulf War. Now, it looks like the dems want us to break our promise and leave them --- again.

Emboldened? That's what Al Qaeda is going to be when we pull out and basically give the country to them. Those deaths of our service men will be for nothing...NOTHING! How quickly we forgot the lessons of 9/11 and the realization that war on terror is going to last years. It's one thing to be passive and anti-war, but it's completely different when that philosophy puts my family at risk.

Ok. Let's clarify. We have a US Senator who is taking the word of Bob Woodward and his un-named sources OVER the word of a U.S. 4 star general TESTIFYING before a Senate committee...
Uhhmmm...what's WRONG with these people?

I missed most of what he said .. but watch carefully how the media/print quote him .. they have a bad habit of taking his words out of context
Clinton is up now .. saying hope is not a strategy and it's getting old
