I understand your concern for "homeschooling"..

He's still a sitting Gov. and their "friends" could have and should have waited until they left Office to run with this faux wedding registry.

If it was the Clintons, this forum would have exploded by now...

I agree, timing could have been better. He's been a good governor for the state, and I'm still very disappointed about last Tuesday's elections.

One difference between the Huckabees and the Clinton's situation though is that neither are serving in public office, or seeking to. Hillary was running for Senate at the time the Clinton's left office. This seems to me to be a sort of "setting up house" registry, which is what the Huckabees are doing. I'm not sure what registry, other than bridal, that would fall under. But yes, for appearances, they could have waited until they moved out of the Governor's mansion to register.
