I can't wait to hear Rush tear Lott apart today and open a can up on those who supported Lott.
(Now that Rush has decided to be honest with his opinions.)
His opposition was Hedley Lamar Alexandar.
LOL. Stop...you guys are killing me...
Hedddddddlllley. I always thought his campaign sign should have been "Lamar?" as opposed to "Lamar!"
Why not? Spineless and worthless are the earmarks of a GOP senator.
j...please read your own tagline.
It says something about supporting the CIC in the time of war???
The reason we ARE upset is because Trent Lott has a habit of being very negative about that CIC whenever he get in front of a microphone...especially with Sissy Chrissy Matthews..
A lot of us that are upset wanted someone MORE respectful of the POTUS/CIC..and a vocal backer of his war efforts...neither one of those in on Trent's resume.
Although he wasn't a member of the Gang of 14, per se....he facilitated it's formation...and helped give it power, from behind the curtain.
Try not to run that on me, Sam; I know people who were actually IN the room when he said it -- and they all knew what he meant.
They all worked for Strom and they all KNEW immediately he had to go.
Power players got us where we are today; they're all too smart by half.
I don't want my leaders to be "almost as bad as theirs," FGS!
"Damn! I wanted Mike Pence!"
Way to keep up.
Well this stinks. What part of the message last Tuesday didn't the Republicans get?
Lott is angry at the party and won't do a thing to help the GOP. Nothing.
Trent Lott thinks that a souther drawl can disguise the fact that he is another betway elite.
Has Trent Lott learned ANYTHING? Has he DONE anything?
Trent Lott = Number 2
Makes sense to me.
Now who is Number 1?
Lott also holds no loyalty to the Republican party. That would indicate that this was a bad decision.
Well, McConnell should tell him he's on probabtion and NO TV appearances!

Santorum was pretty "inspiring" judging by how much he was hated by the Left. Look at what happened to him. At least George Allen lost a close race. Santorum was murdered.
"I know people who were actually IN the room when he said it -- and they all knew what he meant."
Yes, mind reading is much easier when you are in the same room.
I've seen the tape. I know what he was saying. He was saying the same damn thing that is said at every other pol's retirement party.
