I think Rudy will pull something like this, he will say he is personally Pro-choice, for gun control, and that he is not anti-gay, but he'll "pledge" not to change the status quo that exists now, leaving things up to the states, etc...

I don't have a problem with his personal views, and as long as he doesn't try to nationalize them, commits to nominating judges are constitutionalists, and is committed to decreasing the Federal Government, I don't have a problem with him. That's a mouthful. If he's just Joe Liebermann with an R by his name, not interested.

Could be. But guess what, there will probably be one or two seats on the USSC opening up in the next 6 years. He'll have to make appointments. We know where that can lead.

WOT is number one. Judicial appointments is number two, and that is inseparably linked to values.

If he tries to fight a strong WOT but has to work against the ACLU and a judiciary that the ACLU approves, it'll be almost impossible to win, and many Americans will die as a result of our hamstrung offensive.
