Warm Fuzzy Wednesday Poetry
Jasper
My Humans have brought a brand new friend into the House
Who is smaller than a Dog, though much larger than a mouse
With not a lot of whiskers, big ears and tiny eyes
My new friend doesn't really say too much, but appears to be wise
To My Humans' foibles and eccentricities
Usually getting what's desired with surprising ease
First, from The Pretty Little One, but never too much!
When the rest can be coaxed from her Mother, who's also a Soft Touch
A true rebel, who prefers to hop around instead of run
While seeking out different ways of having fun
Much like a Kitten, who likes to wiggle, burrow and probe
And has been found under The Pretty One's soft terry cloth robe
My new friend, Jasper is unique and quirky and at times, very funny
Yet, what he excels at is making warm and cozy Snuggle Bunnies!
