Authorities say US and Iraqi forces have arrested a top operator of Iraq's Al Qaeda group.
Interior Ministry spokesman Major General Abdel Karim Khalaf says US forces parachuted on the Baghdad house of Abdullah Juburi in an overnight operation.
"He is one of the dangerous criminals in Al Qaeda," Major General Khalaf said.
He says Iraqi ground forces, including the rapid intervention force, raided Mr Juburi's house as US troops parachuted into the area, Arab Jubur, on the southern outskirts of Baghdad.

He flew Caribou, just before the Army gave them to the Air Force, among other aircraft.
I got my Canadian jump wings while training with Canada's paratroopers in 1979.
We jumped Caribou's into a farmers pasture. Lots of fun jumping 'tailgate'!
Not fastrope, that's a bit too noisy and close.
I am not sure a HALO is nessassary. It pretty freaking dangerous and they should not be trying to avoid any radar.
It was probably Rangers setting up a permiitor for a snatch and grab team.

I guess the Al Qaeda Consultants bureau got upset that we were calling uncertified Operators consultants.
I was amazed to find the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation operating one. I went down and saw one of their show rehearsals last Spring. If there's ever a show near you, recommended.
