"Cut and Run" won them the election. Now they decide it is caput. It would have been nice if the NYT had asked the RATS really what they intended to do.
In the meantime the NYT endorsed no Republican in the last election and is wallowing in joy since there are no Republican constitutional officers in NY State, no senators and very few Republicans in the House of Representatives.
They are taking the country and themselves over a cliff while claiming the best of intentions.

All of a sudden the NYT sees reasons to stay!

Yeah...their cut and run strategy didn't last very long, did it?
Just long enough to win an election.

Suddenly, even their military 'experts' have changed their minds. Typical dim flip-flops.

"But this argument is being challenged by a number of military officers"
They just now have figured this out.

My goodness...this isn't brain surgery! Of *course* we can pull our troops out.We could probably do it in 90 days.
Of course, doing so would have consequences for Western Civilization that would prove to be cataclysmic....but it would strengthen the RATS,at least for a while.

Now it looks like the real word is, stay the course, your taxes are going up and trust me while I bring in my own crooked congressmen.

OK, NY Times. Thanks for the analysis. Now what was it again that Bush and Rumsfield were doing wrong?

General Zinni said, it would make more sense to consider deploying additional American forces over the next six months to regain momentum Haha. Direct contradiction to Levin.
Oh, my...how are the Dems going to appease their anti-war base now?

A dangerous, but effective strategy... President calls all United States military personnel home to the USA... nukes Mecca... resigns... tells everybody to go to hell... Watch the public do a collective pant $hitting... The election is over and Bush is no fool. Six months ago he created the ISG to distract the MSM from the real action.
Meanwhile he has been quietly placing US naval assets near Iran to bait Ahmadinejab into a provocation.
The MSM and the oil market are clueless about what is to happen shortly in the Persian Gulf.

My first thought was, "Move-on and Soros aren't going to like this!"
The Dems are in a lose-lose situation now. If they withdraw, all hell breaks loose and it looks bad for the '08 election. If they don't, they haven't kept their only campaign promise, and things look bad in '08. I'm almost beginning to enjoy myself.

I hope you're right. By the way I love your tagline!
