Ah hate crime laws -- so very constitutionally unsound -- and yet happily support by lots of people who aren't as smart as they think they are.

Are there any laws so blatantly unfair as hate crime laws? A crime is a crime, delineating it as a crime of hate is ridiculous. Not to mention, these "hate crimes" encapsulate otherwise protected free speech. Telling someone what they are doing is wrong is all of a sudden a crime b/c the person in the wrong is gay/black/woman/NonWhiteStraightProtestantMale?
It is getting out of control.
