It wouldn't have made any difference. Americans are not listening any more. They want the troops home. If we had the same mindset during the civil war, the south would be a seperate country and Germany and Japan would have won world war II.

No, it might not have made a difference by itself - it was just one of the insurance dots on the dems' drawing board.

100% true.

With the media celebration over the election and continual "it was about Iraq" and the people "want a change of direction" a poll comes out late yesterday or early today that 57% of Americans believe the democrats have NO PLAN for Iraq.

Yet the media built up the democrats prior to the election on changing course in Iraq and credited their victory with a changed course in Iraq.

Seems that is not the case now is it.
