"If we had attacked Iran instead, I'm sure it would have been even more difficult."
If we had 'attacked' (your word, not mine) Iran instead of Iraq in 2003...one of 20 or more possible scenarios could have unfolded. The one scenario that would NOT HAVE UNFOLDED...is the one we are looking at now!
IRAN WITH A NUCLEAR WEAPON!
Isn't hindsight a beautiful thing! (being snarky on purpose...nothing personal).
I have not posted on Freepers since the Friday before the election...and since our loss, it has taken a bit of momentum to get motivated to even fight back against the so called democrat 'tide'.
Folks, the ONLY thing that should be on our minds right now...is the survival of our country!! Polls are already showing a bit of 'buyer's remorse' in regards to the 'electorate' ushering in the LIBS!!
GOD SAVE OUR COUNTRY and BLESS OUR MILITARY! The Libs are fixing to cement a victory for Al Qaeda and every muslim fanatic in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD by pulling our troops out of Iraq or cutting funding for the mission in sneaky ways!!
Congrats....Cut N Run Conservatives!! Congrats RINOS!! Congrats 'bipartisan, limp wristed, impotent republicans'... THE DEMS WON!! Are you happy now?
ARGHHHHHHHH........
lol..just blowing off a little steam..a week later, after I have had time to 'digest' it all!!
Good points. Maybe I wasn't entirely clear. I voted a straight Republican ticket. I also support the war in Iraq now (though wish many things- one of which is we had killed Sadr in 2004...), and have done so since Powell's UN presentation. I was extrememly hesitant before the run-up. You are right abour Iran. I am VERY concerned about it. I also don't blame Bush for the supposed problems in Iraq.
