I am blaming the administration for having a weak Foreign Policy. A monkey could have done better. Other than that Bush is a great President.

A huge W supporter, I keep telling myself the President has a face card down and isn't showing it yet, and that when he does, his approach to both Iraq and Iran will make sudden, irrefutable sense. The Gates appointment to SecDef troubles me no end, as did Tony Blair's remarks about including Syria and Iran (!) in the 'peace process', as did the President's 'open-ness to new ideas' statement.

If Iran gets the bomb, Iran will use the bomb. The mad mullahs and their badly dressed front-man aren't using hyperbole or calculated intimidation tactics when they talk about the destruction of Israel. They mean it--these guys don't speak in figurative abstractions or euphemisms. Their terrorist proxies' rhetoric about the destruction of the 'Great Satan' isn't just rhetoric, either; they mean it, too, and with even a few dozen low-yield dirty bombs or chemical/biological devices in the right places, they could some serious damage--although I think my country is a great deal stronger and more resilient than its enemies can ever fully know.

Now isn't the time for the President to falter in his resolve, and I doubt he has, but I wish he would offer his supporters (like me) some reassurance on this.

This just in: Nancy Pelosi blames the GOP for planting the 'unnexplained' plutonium in Iran to make a case for war so President Bush can teal Iran's oil as well. In other news, Iran announces Phase two of 'Operation Israel' which calls for the anihilation of the Zionist regime- the world remains unconvinced that Iran is serious, and insists that the pklutonium was a plant. lease pass the Caliphate- I'm starved.

Experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency have found unexplained plutonium and enriched uranium traces in a nuclear waste facility in Iran and have asked Tehran for an explanation, an IAEA report said Tuesday.

Iran: "It's accepted fact that plutonium and enriched uranium are natural by-products of baby milk production!"

IAEA: "Of course you're right. How stupid of us to forget. Carry on!"

"A huge W supporter, I keep telling myself the President has a face card down and isn't showing it yet."

You are a victim of Freeprism. Its a disease where a group of conservative, frustrated, former 'Risk' players congregate and believe that good will come in various forms, i.e. Rovisms. Any setback is seen as a well-orchestrated, three-dimensional Spock chessboard strategy. It usually takes a failed election to subside some of the symptoms...momentarily.

The ultimate cure is to have candidates who offer to resign if they don't do as they say, on threat of withholding donations.

That's all well and good...so long as we don't try to do anything about it...'cuz as sure as we do, the world will claim there never was plutonium there.

I use to be a huge W supporter. Much of that ended during the last year. Iraq is turning into a disaster. Iran is getting the bomb. Bush doesn't seem to know what to do. if he had a good card, he would have pulled it six months ago.

And I wonder if our "new" government will stand behind Israel when they do.

Since at that point, we're going to have a NEW, new government (by popular demand), I'm picking "Yes."

Yeah so... this is the THIRD TIME we found traces of WEAPONS GRADE uranium in Iran. In "electricity only" research you see up to what.. 3% enrichment.

Last two times it was 78% and 88% or something they found traces of... the "world" yawned. Unfortunately, after this past week, it seems like its going to take a mushroom cloud to wake people up.

OK. Who knew and when did they know it?
I do not think I could be convinced that IAEA did not know this before Nov 7th.

It wouldn't have made any difference. Americans are not listening any more. They want the troops home. If we had the same mindset during the civil war, the south would be a seperate country and Germany and Japan would have won world war II.

If I'm not mistaken, Plutonium is not a naturally occuring element...but is the byproduct of a nuclear reaction.

Either it was given to them or they are "burning" uranium.
